1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of the Crownish website at crownishad.biz and describe the basis on which we provide watch repair and restoration services from our workshop at 33 Jalan Padungan, 93100 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

By using this website or by leaving a watch in our care, you agree to these terms. If you have questions about anything here, please contact us before proceeding — we are happy to discuss.

2. Service Enquiries

The contact form and contact details on this website are for enquiry purposes. Submitting an enquiry does not constitute an appointment or a service agreement. A service is agreed only when a written or verbal confirmation has been given by a member of the Crownish team following an initial inspection.

We reserve the right to decline work that falls outside our capabilities or that would require parts or techniques we are not able to source responsibly.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Prices shown on this website reflect our standard service fees and are subject to change without notice. An estimate provided before work begins is based on visible condition at inspection. If further issues are discovered during the service, we will contact the owner before continuing.

4. Acceptance and Inspection

When a watch is received at our workshop, we carry out an initial written inspection and provide the owner with a condition note. This note records the state of the piece before any work begins. The owner is asked to review and acknowledge the note before service proceeds.

For Long Bench Restoration work, we document each stage with photographs and notes, and include stop-points where the owner confirms they wish to continue.

5. Turnaround and Timing

We do not commit to fixed completion dates, as the nature of detailed bench work makes precise scheduling difficult. We provide an estimated range at the start of each service and keep the owner informed of progress. Delays caused by parts sourcing, unexpected findings, or workshop scheduling will be communicated as soon as they are known.

6. Collection and Uncollected Watches

Once a service is complete, the owner will be notified and asked to collect the watch within a reasonable period. We will make reasonable efforts to hold completed pieces for up to sixty days. After this period, we reserve the right to apply a modest storage fee and to contact the owner regarding next steps. We will not dispose of or transfer a watch without the owner's written consent.

7. Liability

Crownish takes reasonable care with every piece in our workshop. In the unlikely event that damage occurs during a service, we will discuss it with the owner and work towards a fair resolution. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed or the agreed repair value of the damaged part — we do not accept liability for the full market or sentimental value of a watch.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions not noted at the time of inspection, or for issues that arise from normal use after the service is completed.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, and design elements — is the property of Crownish or its content providers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission.

9. External Links
